The school roll jumps to 1480, and leads to a re-structure of the senior management team. A big drop in the roll at Devon Intermediate will see a smaller 3rd form intake in 1977(approx 100 less).

Debating, Interact groups continue.
Music:-Brass Band, Concert Band, Madrigal Singers and Orchestra continue. On 15th August all groups leave to visit Tawa HS.
